Job Description
- Safe Driving: Operate the trailer safely, adhering to traffic laws and regulations to avoid accidents and ensure timely delivery.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading products/equipment, ensuring they are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of the inventory being transported, including any discrepancies or damages.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on the assigned vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and company regulations, including weight limits and hazardous materials handling.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts and logbooks, accurately and promptly.
Skills
- Secondary School Level
- Minimum 5 years of experience in driving trailers and heavy trucks with in Qatar.
- Bilingual (English & Arabic)
- Valid Qatar heavy driving license is must
