Job Description
- Checks and maintains printing equipment as per preventive maintenance schedules
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Assist the Maintenance Engineer to ensure all mechanical systems are functioning at optimal level
- Analyze machine performance reports in order to formulate schedules and carry out preventive maintenance to prevent failures.
- Mentor and guide junior mechanical technicians
- Assist the Maintenance Engineer in provide training on mechanical systems and equipment, safety protocols in operating the printing machine
- Recommend and implement improvements to mechanical system and processes
- Develop innovative solutions to complex mechanical issues
Skills
- Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Preferably with Qatar driving license
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the same field preferably within a large printing production plant
- Extensive experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in printing press or manufacturing environment
