Team Leader - Database

• Technical role, leads a team, manages and configures database, ensuring availability, performance and security.
• Leading Database team and support the users across the group for all database related issues Determine priorities and timetables, assign resources/tasks, and provide performance feedback to the manager.
• Setting the team objectives and doing the performance management for his team in coordination with his Manager
• Leading the team ensuring that quality and standards are adhered to.

Area of Focus:

• Database Maintenance, Database Troubleshooting; Database Installation and setup.
• Database Configuration, Database Monitoring, Database Log review and record
• Communicating with division users, suppliers, Maintains asset inventory; Incident and problem handling
• Database Support Administration of Database, Vendor co-ordination for support and requirements
• Scoping and Design; Review Performance, Availability & Capacity of Database
• Conducts presentation or training sessions as per ABA requirements
• Shall be responsible and be compliant with ABA IT Division's security policies and procedures
• Shall be responsible for the protection of ABA IT Division's information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction and/or interference thereby ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information
• Shall be responsible for reporting any security events, potential incidents and/or other threats

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Minimum education and/or qualification
• Bachelor Degree in IT
• Professional certification in database

 Minimum experience:

• 6 Years experienced in databases
• 2 years leadership experience
