Project Manager

OBJECTIVE

This is a management level position within Ali Bin Ali Medical and will work closely with Business Unit Manager. It is a managerial role ensuring that project delivers within agreed time frame, within defined scope of work & budget to achieve customer satisfaction. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project. (milestones & deliverables)
• Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project and develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
• Visit site regularly and monitor the construction works on a regular basis including leading on problem solving and risk management.
• Develop forms and records to document project activities. Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
• Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
• Review the quality of the work completed with the project team and compare with the approved construction programme versus the actual and advise them of any delays and problem areas then submit report to the Client for reference to assure him of the project status.
• Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures according to established accounting policies and procedures.
• Chair and minute all projects meeting with client, contractor and subcontractors for assurance of the completion of project on time.
• Manage / monitor the duties of the Engineers in relation to inspections and quality control of the works and take appropriate actions as required to rectify any issues found.
• Prepare reports on the project for management.
• Assign tasks periodically, review performance with team on daily basis and discuss issues, concerns and progress of the project.
• Establish a communication schedule to update customers including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the report.
• Interact regularly with clients to develop plans for improving delivery.
• Provide project status reports and supportive documentation to customers as outlined in the agreement.
• Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances & contingencies that may arise due to the implementation of the project.
• Facilitates amicable solutions with the customer.
• Establish close relationship with mid or top level management of customer.
• Receives customer feedback and takes appropriate action required.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Degree in Arch Engineering.
• Computer Knowledge, - Microsoft Office.
• Minimum of 7 to 10years’ experience in Healthcare / Technical fields and preferably 5 years managing a team.
• Should have strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Should have strong commanding power.
• Should be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Should be able to motivate and mentor team and assign tasks to team.
• Strong on using AutoCAD/ Revit/ 3D Rendering and designing healthcare facilities.
