Job Description
- Candidates must have experienced in cleaning fish, fillet, boning fish, weighing and packing, displaying in fish section.
- Knowledgeable in sharpening, handling and using fishery knife safely and effectively.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming fish and seafood shipments
- Clean, cut, and fillet fish according to customer specifications
- Display and arrange fish products in an appealing manner
- Provide customers with information about different types of fish and seafood
- Weigh, price, and package fish products for sale
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills
- High School graduate / college-level preferable.
- Proven 2 years ‘experience as a Fish Monger or similar role
- Have an effective communication and customer-service level skills.
- Language Speaking: (good command in English; French and Basic Arabic an added advantage
- Able to work on fast paced working environment.
- Knowledge of different types of fish and seafood.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
